We expect to receive them between the last week of January to the first week of February. We will be sending out shipping surveys around February 1. We should be receiving the games in our hands between the middle and end of February.
Waterloo Solitaire is our second bookgame that we just released this week. Some that have purchased in the USA have already received their copies with the quick delivery from Amazon. You will be happy to find that Waterloo Solitaire incorporates some of the best features of 1759 SIEGE OF QUEBEC and FREEMAN’S FARM 1777, plus some additional new unique functions for the Bookgame format. Check out the Detailed Play Example below.
Like BISMARCK SOLITAIRE, it is setup within the Amazon book format. That way anyone worldwide can order it through Amazon which has the best delivery distribution network in today’s environment. And, if you are an Amazon Prime member, the shipping cost is covered by your membership, and it will be delivered to your door within days. USA games are printed and mailed within the USA and the speed of delivery has been impressive. For non-USA orders, order from the Amazon site for your country. It takes Amazon a little longer to setup overseas printing, so if not available yet where you live, keep checking and it should be available within days.
Waterloo Solitaire has 24 games.
You take the role of Napoleon commanding the French army for 12 games against an opposing Allied autonomous player side, referred to as the Allied BOT side.
And you take the role of Wellington for 12 games, commanding the Allied army against a French BOT side. Each opposing BOT side is rated for its skill; challenging for 4 games, veteran for 4 games, and tough for 4 games.
The object of the game for the French player is to defeat the Allies by the end of the game by removing all units in 2 of the 3 Allied infantry formations. The object for the Allied player is to avoid defeat by the end of the game. Both sides also have several other ways to win or lose before the game ends.
You will need to provide a pen and one 6-sided die to play the game.
