LIEUTENANT:
Our lieutenant wears the M1942 uniform used by paratrooper troops from 1943 to the summer of 1944. In addition to his standard equipment, he carries a Colt 1911A1 pistol in an M3 leather shoulder holster. Despite his rank, he does not display any distinguishing insignia from a common soldier. |

Some paratroopers from the 101st Airborne, known as Pathfinders, belong to a specialized section in demolitions. These brave soldiers shaved their hair in a mohawk style and painted their faces like warriors prepared for battle. |
